NTSE Topper Interview: “Work hard towards the right direction,” says Aryansh Bansal

NTSE Topper Interview: Aryansh Bansal - Preparing for any exam requires dedication and hard work. NTSE topper Aryansh Bansal, in his interview with Careers360 says that it is not just hard work, but working hard towards the right direction that finally pays off. Apart from covering the syllabus, he says, solving NTSE test papers serve as an effective tool. Whenever in doubt, Aryansh sought guidance from his teachers, who helped him in every possible way. Aryansh Bansal cleared NTSE 2018 with a score of 164 out of total 197 marks. Those planning to appear for NTSE 2020 can know how toppers prepare for NTSE, which books they have preferred, and more. Q: Hi Aryansh, tell us about your educational qualification?

A: Hello, I am Aryansh Bansal. I am, currently, studying in class 11, pursuing my studies in Delhi Public School (DPS), Indirapuram.

Q: When did you appear for NTSE and how much did you score in the exam?

A: It was for the year 2018 that I appeared for NTSE Exam. The first stage was held in November 2017 and I cleared that, which means I was selected for the second stage. In NTSE stage 2, my score was 164 out of 197.

Q: Did you take any coaching in order to prepare for the national talent search examination?

A: Yes, I did. I enrolled myself at FIITJEE to get better guidance while preparing for NTSE 2018.

Q: What books did you follow while preparing for NTSE?

A: To prepare for the exam, I just followed the NTSE books that were given to me by my coaching center. They guide you very well through the NTSE syllabus and help you get your concepts clear.

Q: Did you practice NTSE sample papers or take any mock tests while preparing for NTSE?

A: I practiced the test papers and NTSE sample papers. Solving the test papers proved to be a very helpful tool while studying for the exam as they helped me understand the paper pattern and important topics. Taking mock tests were very much effective in my preparation for NTSE.

Q: How much did your teachers support you during your preparation for NTSE?

A: My teachers helped me a lot. Whenever I had any doubt or difficulty, I would go to my teachers and ask for help, which they readily agreed to offer. The guidance that I received from them really helped me a lot in getting myself through the exam.

Q: Would you like to share some preparation tips with the fellow aspirants who are planning to take the test?

A: To my fellow aspirants, I would like to say that if you keep working hard towards the right direction, it will definitely help you gain success in NTSE. While you are preparing for the test, make sure that solve the modules properly, and within the given amount of time. Do not hesitate to have your doubts cleared by the best faculty whenever you have a doubt regarding any topic.

NTSE Preparation Tips

Along with the NTSE Topper's interview, students should also checkout given tips to get good marks in the NTSE exam,

  • Follow the NCERT Books and State Boards both to complete the syllabus because stage 1 is conducted by the SCERT of the state.

I have got 167 marks in ntse stage 1 2019-2020 in Rajasthan. I had filled General category in ntse form but later on I had filled OBC category in ntse OMR sheet and also attached OBC certificate with it, I actually belongs to OBC category, whether I will be selected inOBC category or not

see if the invigilator in the exam center has accepted your documents you have attached and signed in your omr sheet than you will be selected based on your obc category. now coming to the results the rajasthan ntse it is still not published. however this year for obc category, cutoff is expected will be around 151, follow the below link to know more details,

The NTSE results has been declared in few states and will be soon declared in rajasthan. There isn't any specific date scheduled for the results to be declared but Rajasthan board will declare the results in the month of February. Please click the  below link to know more
