NTSE Sikkim Exam 2018-19: SCERT, Sikkim conducted stage 1 of NTSE 2019 Sikkim on November 4, 2018. The NTSE Siikim result will be released in the third week of March, 2019 by SCERT in the online mode. The admit card of NTSE Sikkim 2019 was released offline by school authorities. Candidates had to collect their admit card from their respective school after October 22, 2018. The last date to submit the completely filled application form of NTSE Sikkim was in October 2018. NTSE exam is conducted in two stages- stage 1 and 2. NTSE stage 1 is conducted at the state level, where students from various states across India, including Sikkim are selected to participate in NTSE stage 2. Based on the results of NTSE Sikkim exam 2018, 25 students from the state will be selected to take part in NTSE stage 2, 2019. The NTSE programme was started with the aim to bring down the student dropout rate of the students. Under NTSE scholarships are awarded to top ranking students. Students will receive a month stipend starting from class 11 till PhD.

How to apply for NTSE Sikkim Exam 2018-19 

To apply for NTSE Sikkim exam 2019, candidates were required to follow these steps:

  • Download the application form by clicking on the link below.

  • Fill the required details on the application form. If you fail to fill the required details properly your application can be rejected.

  • State code for Sikkim is 17. Coding plan for exam medium, parent’s occupation, school type will be available on the application form.

  • Admission card form will be attached within the application form for NTSE Sikkim exam2018. Fill the required details and attach a passport size photograph on the given column. DO NOT detach the admission card from the application form before submitting it.

NTSE 2019 Sikkim Exam - Instructions!

  • Keep the admit card attached to the application form. The admit card will be sent to the exam Superintendent with the application to allot roll numbers.

  • Candidates can recollect their admit cards at least a week before NTSE Sikkim stage 1 exam 2019.

  • Candidates should reach the examination centers at least half an hour before the examination begins.

  • Any kind of reckoner such as calculator, mathematics and physics table, are NOT allowed in the examination hall.

  • NTSE Sikkim exam 2019 is conducted in two sessions on the same day.

  • Mode of exam is pen and paper.

  • Submit the question papers booklets to the invigilator before leaving exam hall.

  • Submit the admit cards to the invigilator before leaving exam hall.

NTSE Sikkim exam 2018- Exam Pattern

 Sikkim NTSE exam 2019 contained two parts, 1 and 2. Part 1 is Mental Ability test (MAT) consisting 90 compulsory questions. Part 2 is Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) comprising 90 question in total, where 35 questions from Science, 35 from Social Studies, and 20 questions from mathematics. Each question in NTSE Sikkim exam carried 1 mark each. Also, there was no negative marking for NTSE Sikkim exam 2019.

NTSE Sikkim 2019 Exam Fee: No fee was charged for NTSE Sikkim exam 2019.

NTSE Sikkim Admit Card 2019

Admission card form were available in the application form for Sikkim NTSE 2019. Students were advised to keep the admit card attached to application form before submitting it to the state liaison’s officer for Sikkim. Students could collect their admit card after October 22, 2018 from the state liaison’s officer.

NTSE Sikkim Sample Papers 2019

Question papers for NTSE Sikkim exam 2019 are framed by SCERT, Sikkim. No official sample papers or questions papers for NTSE Sikkim are available online. However, some coaching institutes do release their own sample papers on their website.

nswer key for NTSE Sikkim exam 2018 is made available online by renowned coaching institutes a day after the conduct of exam. Candidates will be intimated if SCERT Sikkim releases the official answer key of NTSE Sikkim 2019.  

NTSE Sikkim Result 2019

Results for NTSE Sikkim 2019 will be declared by SCERT, Sikkim in the third week of March, 2019. Results will be declared online only. Students who qualify the stage 1 of NTSE 2019 Sikkim shall be eligible to appearf or the second stage of NTSE which is slated to be held on May 12, 2019.

NTSE Sikkim Cut off 2018-19

Cutoff for NTSE Sikkim exam 2019 will be released by SCERT, Sikkim along with the result in the third week of March, 2019 in the online mode.NTSE Sikkim cut off 2019 is the minimum score required by candidate to qualify for NTSE stage 2, 2019.

The 25 selected students based on NTSE Sikkim results will compete for merit scholarships at NTSE stage 2 2019. The scholarships and awards will be distribution is provided in the table below.
