Students should consider the following pointers to calculate their marks accurately using Puducherry NTSE Answer Key 2020-
The NTSE Puducherry exam will be conducted for a total of 200 marks, 100 for MAT and 100 for SAT.
There will be no negative marking in the NTSE exam and each question will be worth 1 mark.
Calculate marks separately for MAT and SAT and refer to the minimum qualifying scores for both the tests provided in the following section.
Next, calculate overall scores and refer to cut off for NTSE Puducherry to check whether the candidate is qualified for stage 2 or not.
As per NCERT’s instructions, no negative marking will be done for NTSE 2020 in both stage 1 & stage 2. And, each question will be for 1 mark only. To calculate your scores using the NTSE Puducherry answer key, use the following equation.
Marks obtained in MAT and SAT = Total number of correct answers x 1
Overall marks = Marks obtained in MAT+ Marks obtained in SAT
Students calculating their marks using NTSE Puducherry answer key 2020 should also refer to the minimum qualifying marks for the exam.
Students can expect cutoff to be released along with the NTSE Puducherry Result, in the month of February 2020. Separate NTSE Puducherry cutoff marks will be issued for general, SC, ST, and PWD categories. Find the minimum qualifying score and NTSE Puducherry cutoff in the table below.

NCERT will conduct the stage 2 examination on May 10, 2020 for all the stage 1 qualifiers. the answer key for Stage 2 to be released after one week of the exam day on the official website, ncert,nic.in. However, a few coaching institutes release the stage 2 answer key on the day of the test. Students do note that the unofficial answer keys released by coaching institutes may or may not match with the final answer key. Also, only rely on the official answer key for checking the expected scores.

The total marks of NTSE have been increased from 150 to 200 along with the removal of the language test. The official cut off will be released along with the result. The cutoff is expected to be around 140.
