We have provided the NTSE eligibility criteria 2020 below. Students are advised to go through this once before filling up the application form.
An aspirant must be passed in Class 9th with a minimum of 60% from a recognised primary school
Candidates studying in SSC in any of the affiliated/recognised school are also eligible to sit in the entrance exam.
Students must score a minimum of 60% marks to apply for the exam. However, up to 55% or more is required for the candidate who belongs to any reserved category.
Every State and UT has different eligibility criteria for the NTSE exam.
The NTSE Stage I application forms have been released by Education departments of different States/UTs or SCERTs on September 6, 2020. Eligible candidates are required to submit the filled NTSE Application form before the last date as specified by the respective State/UTs.

NTSE Manipur Application Fee
The official authorities of Manipur have not disclosed any such information related to the application fee of Stage I exam yet. However, the State will update the information regarding this very soon for the convenience of the aspirants on the official website.
Some States release the admit card online which is downloadable. Other States provide the NTSE admit card offline. Candidates are free to collect the same from their respective school. The NTSE admit card 2020 includes important information, such as the candidate’s name, roll number, and timing, exam date, and exam centre address. Aspirants must remember that they won’t be allowed to enter the NTSE examination hall without the admit card.
How to obtain Manipur NTSE Admit Card?
Stage 1 admit card will be released in October 2020. Candidates can either get it online or offline (depending on the state).
In case any aspirant did not receive the admit card, he or she could visit the State Liaison Officer to get their admit card.
Documents to carry along with NTSE Manipur Admit Card
Students must carry their admit card and a Photo ID proof at the examination centre. Aspirants need to bring any one of the following in original and a photocopy of the same.
Department of Education Manipur releases the Manipur NTSE result in the third week of February. The results will be available in the online mode in the form of PDF. NTSE Manipur exam is usually commenced in the first week of November. The result displays the candidate’s name, roll number, rank, score in each section and overall score. Along with the results of NTSE Manipur 2020, the SCERTs also releases the cutoff.
Students will be able to check the unofficial Manipur NTSE answer key, released by the coaching institutes, on the day of the exam, November 03, 2019. The answer key will contain the correct answers to all the questions asked in the Stage 1 exam. The officials may or may nor release the official answer keys.
Every state will release its separate NTSE Stage I cutoff. To qualify NTSE Exam 2020, candidates need to score the minimum cutoff marks as directed by the exam conducting bodies. The NTSE Manipur Cutoff is the minimum mark that is used to shortlist candidates for the NTSE Exam 2020 stage 2. Check the qualifying cutoff for NTSE 2020 and previous year's stage 1 & 2 cut off.
