NTSE Maharashtra 2020 - MSCE has released the NTSE Maharashtra answer key 2020 for stage 1 exam held on November 17, 2019. Now, the authority will release Maharashtra NTSE 2020 result by the last week of February 2020. The admit card 2020 for the stage 1 exam was released on October 15, 2019. Students could collect their admit cards from their respective school authorities. Maharashtra State Council of Examinations (MSCE) conducted the NTSE Maharashtra Stage 1 application process through respective schools. There are two sections in the NTSE Exam namely Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) of 100 marks each. Each section needs to be answered within a duration of 120 minutes and to qualify, a student needs to secure 40% (32% for SC/ST/PH) in both the papers separately.

NTSE 2020 is held in two stages; stage 1 is the state level talent search exam which is also the qualifying exam for stage 2. NTSE Scholarships 2020

Under the NTSE programme, 2000 scholarships are distributed each year by the national conducting body, NCERT. Students selected through NTSE Maharashtra 22020 will sit for NTSE stage 2 and compete for the NTSE scholarships.

NTSE Maharashtra Eligibility Criteria

  • Students studying in class 10 from Maharashtra are eligible to apply for Maharashtra NTSE 2020.
  • They must be appearing for class 10 board exams for the first time.
  • Students must have passed the class 9th exams with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates)
  • Open school students can also apply for NTSE Stage 1 however, their age should be less than 18 years. Also, students should not be earning.
  • Students can only receive only one scholarship amount at a time.

NTSE Maharashtra 2020 Application Form

MSCE will release the NTSE Maharashtra application form online in the second week of August 2019. The last date to apply will fall in September, while students could submit the form with late fee till last week of September 2019. Students can also acquire the NTSE Application form from their respective schools, fill it offline and submit it after paying the required fee (Rs. 120). Students will also be able to download the form online by clicking on the link given on this page and registering themselves. After filling the form, they should submit the same to their schools. NTSE Maharashtra 2020 application form will then be submitted to the state liaison’s officer by the school authority before the last date. NTSE Maharashtra 2020 Exam Pattern

  • The NTSE exam pattern of stage 1 for Maharashtra includes two parts, Mental Ability Test (MAT), and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT).
  • MAT and SAT contains 100 questions each.
  • There is no negative marking in NTSE Maharashtra 2020, and each question is worth 1 mark.

Hi,

Ntse stage 1 exam was held in the Month of November 2019. The result for ntse stage 1 exam is declared by respective scert. Many states have declared their result. So it is expected that soon the result for wb ntse will be declared most probably in Second week of March 2020. You can check the official website scholarships.wbsed.gov.in for result.

Hello Aspirant,

Sorry to hear that you are not selected. In this selection procedure they take the top students only. I mean there will be many people who might have scored more than the cut off,at that time there will be a limit to the selection procedure so they take according to that count only. In that the top students will be shortlisted. You might have qualified but not selected because of more competition and more students above you. Hope this is useful

when will Delhi ntse result be announced

NTSE Delhi results will get declared in the month of February, so it may be anytime soon.The result will be in the form of pdf format mentioning the roll number, name, category of the candidate along with total marks including that of MAT score and SAT score.

When will be ntse stage 1 result will be declared in Punjab? Result of Haryana and Karnatka is already been declared.

SCERTs have declared the result of NTSE 2020 stage 1 Punjab, Odisha Telangana, and other states. Students can check the NTSE 2020 result stage 1 in the form of merit list. NTSE stage 1 result 2020 pdf contains roll numbers of selected students and their marks. The exam authority has also released the cut off marks with NTSE result 2020.

Students who qualify in NTSE Stage 1 will be eligible to appear for the stage 2 exam. NCERT will conduct the stage 2 exam on May 10, 2020. SCERTs also send the NTSE exam result 2020 to the respective schools. NTSE exam 2020 stage 1 exam was conducted on November 2, 3 & 17, 2019. NTSE 2020 result for stage 2 will be announced by NCERT on ncert.nic.in in August 2020.

What is the cut off of NTSE STAGE 1 PUNJAB in marks?

The expected cut off is as follows for NTSE stage 1 Punjab is as follows for each category

  • General: 130-140
  • SC: 110-120
  • ST: 85-95

The official cut off is yet to be announced.However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly based on various factors like number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam etc.
