NTSE Jammu & Kashmir 2019 -  Jammu & Kashmir State Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE), conducted  Jammu & Kashmir NTSE stage 1 exam on November 25, 2018. The result for the same has been released on February 1, 2019. Students can check and download the NTSE J&K result from the link given below. The NTSE 2019 admit card was handed over to students by the school authority before a week of the examination. The application process for Jammu & Kashmir NTSE 2019 was started on August 16 and the last date to apply was September 30, 2018. Students studying in class X of any recognized school were eligible to appear for the National Talent Search Examination or NTSE, which is held in two stages- 1 and 2. The first stage of NTSE Jammu & Kashmir 2019 is the state level qualifying exam to select the candidates for stage 2 (national level) of the exam. National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will conduct NTSE 2019 stage 2 on May 12, 2019. NTSE Jammu & Kashmir Result 2019

Participants can expect NTSE Jammu Kashmir exam declared on February 1, 2019. NTSE Jammu Kashmir results 2019 is released in the form of merit list of selected candidates for stage 2 exam. It includes category wise seleted candidates along with their parent's name and district.

Eligibility Criteria of NTSE Jammu & Kashmir Exam 2019

  • Stage 1 is conducted for students currently studying in class 10 in any recognized school including Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, and Sainik School etc. in which the school is located.

  • There is no domicile restriction for students who want to appear for Jammu & Kashmir NTSE 2019.

  • Students registered under Open and Distance Learning (ODL) were also eligible for the scholarship, provided the students are below the age of 18 years (as on July 1, 2019), the student is not employed and they are appearing in class 10 for the first time.

Students could download the application form for Jammu & Kashmir NTSE 2019. Application forms could also be obtained from Jammu & Kashmir state liaison officer. The application process has concluded on September 30, 2018. 

How to apply for NTSE Jammu & Kashmir 2019?

 To apply for Jammu & Kashmir NTSE exam, follow the points provided below.

  • Download and print the application form from the official website of JKBOSE. Admit card/ hall ticket will be attached within the application form.

  • Fill all the required details on application and admit card forms.

  • Attach a copy of reservation certificate if the candidate belongs to one of the reserved categories, SC, ST, PH.

  • Attach pay-in-slip in the name of the state liaison officer for Jammu & Kashmir NTSE 2019.

  • Get the application form attested from the principal office.

  • Application forms should be submitted to the state liaison officer by the designated last date of submission.

NTSE Jammu & Kashmir Exam 2019- Admit Card/ Hall Ticket

Students appearing for Jammu & Kashmir NTSE 2019 could collect their admit card/hall ticket from the state liaison officer/school at least a week before the exam.

Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

Examination for Jammu & Kashmir NTSE 2019 had two sections. Section 1 was for Mental Ability Test (MAT) which contained 100 questions worth 1 mark each. Section 2 was for Scholastic Ability Test (SAT) which contained 100 questions worth 1 marks each. Questions will be of objective type, multiple choice questions. NTSE 2019- Scholarships and awards

Students selected from NTSE Jammu & Kashmir exam 2019 will compete for the merit-based scholarship at stage 2 NTSE 2019. Under NTSE programme 1000 scholarships are distributed each year by the national conducting body NCERT.
