KVPY Result 2019 - IISc Bangalore will declare the KVPY 2019 result at kvpy.iisc.ernet.in tentatively in the second week of December. To check the result of KVPY 2019, candidates will have to login by entering their application number and date of birth. In the KVPY result 2019, stream-wise marks will be declared. Students can check the KVPY score, qualifying status, stream and their personal details in the result of KVPY 2019. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana 2019 is scheduled to be held on November 3, 2019. Students who qualify the KVPY aptitude test will have to attend a personal interview in the 2nd week of January 2020. The final KVPY result 2019 based on the performance of candidates in the aptitude test and interview. KVPY 2019 Interview Call Letter

Afeter the declaration of KVPY result 2019, qualified students will be able to download the KVPY 2019 interview call letter tentatively in the 2nd week of January 2020. To download the call letter, they must enter their User ID and password. The interviews will be held in 24 cities for shortlisted candidates. An interview centre will be allotted based on the preference provided in the application form. Students must carry the following documents while attending the interview.

  • Interview call letter (To be downloaded from kvpy.iisc.ernet.in)
  • Attested copy of Marks card. (10th Marks card for Stream SA/SX and 12th Marks card for Stream SB)
  • Caste certificate for SC/ST candidates issued by the competent Authority.
  • Medical certificate from competent authority in case of physically and visually challenged students in the prescribed format (As per GOI)
  • A Self-Appraisal form. To be downloaded from the official website
  • Study certificate form. (to be obtained from your Principal/Head of the Institution where you are currently pursuing your studies)
  • Teacher Recommendation Form. (in Sealed envelope) To be downloaded from the official website and attested by the teacher

IISc Bangalore will also release the final KVPY result in the form of pdfs. The list of candidates selected as per their result of KVPY 2019 (Aptitude test and Interview in the weightage of 75% and 25%) will be released for each stream along with the cutoff marks. Steps to Check Final KVPY Result 2019

IISc Bangalore will announce the KVPY 2019 result in online mode. Candidates can follow the steps listed below to check their final result after the process of interview.

  • Click on the given link (to be updated after the official announcement) or visit the main website of KVPY
  • A new login window 'Results of Aptitude Test and Interview' will open
  • Enter the application number and date-of-birth in dd-mm-yyyy format and click on continue
  • The result of KVPY 2019 will be displayed.
  • Download and save the file
  • Take a printout of the same and keep it safe for future reference.

Final KVPY result 2019 - Shortlisting Methodology

  • Students who qualify both the aptitude test and interview are shortlisted for the KVPY fellowships.
  • The final KVPY result 2019 is declared after compilation of the scores obtained in the aptitude test and interview.

The criterion to calculate the KVPY marks is as follows-

"Final KVPY Result = 75% of total marks in KVPY Aptitude Test + 25% of Interview Marks"

Question: When will the result of KVPY announced?


The KVPY result 2019 will be made available in two stages. The first stage result for the aptitude test will be released in December 2019. The interview result will be announced in April 2019.

Question: How is the final KVPY result calculated?


The final result of KVPY 2019 will be announced after the interviews are completed and the scores of all candidates compiled accordingly. Weightage given to aptitude test is 75% while the interview is given 25% weightage.

The objective of the program is to identify students with talent and aptitude for research; help them realize their academic potential; encourage them to take up research careers in Science, and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country.

Dear Aspirant,

This is highly unlikely that you forgot your email id and password. Your email id is like your digital contact and you must if not able to remember it, then write it somewhere.

Moreover, do not make email id that is not easily memorable. Start with your name and DOB combination or your school name combination with your name. Do not make email with irrelevant numbers in it.

Remember these points in future to make email Id. Now onto how to find your account, you could use the history of your browser, there maybe you'll find some details.

Sir if i want to take admission in IIIT HYDERABAD then should I have to give some separate entrance exam or I can take admission from my KVPY marks basis.

Hello there!
You can take admission on the basis of marks obtained in kvpy in iiit hyderabad , you don't need to give any other exam but actually iit Hyderabad has different channels of B.Tech admission , which are - UGEE-CLD, ECD, CND and CLD programmes/NK/NTSE or KVPY, Olympiad, SPEC, DASA UG andjee main mode. So , you can give these exams as well in order to increase your chances of admission into iiit hyderabad. Even if you fail to perform well in kvpy but perform well in any of the other mentioned exams then you can have admission in iiit hyderabad,  it's not good to rely on just kvpy , when you have other channels as well. So , you should go for other exams as well but it's not mandatory.

Dear Smriti, the last date for filling KVPY 2019 application form has been closed on August 20th, 2019. You cannot upload any document once the last dare for registration has been closed.
