CBSE Class 10 Syllabus 2020 - CBSE Board releases the class 10 syllabus online for Maths, Science, Social Science, English, etc. The CBSE syllabus for class 10 exams contains all the topics and units to be covered during the academic session 2019-20. Before starting the preparation, students must have the entire CBSE 10th syllabus 2020. Also, cover all the topics and sections provided in the CBSE Class 10 syllabus 2020 without skipping any of the topics. As CBSE follows the CBSE syllabus for class 10th while creating the board exam question papers. The board will conduct the CBSE Class 10th exams 2020 from February 15. Hence, students are suggested to cover the complete CBSE Class 10 syllabus 2020 as early as possible so that they have ample time for revision.

According to the latest CBSE syllabus for Class 10, the board has allocated 80 marks for theory exams and 20 marks for Internal assessment. The internal assessment includes a periodic test of 10 marks, notebook submission of 5 marks and subject enrichment activities of 5 marks. The 80 marks paper would cover 100 per cent of the respective subject CBSE Class 10 Syllabus 2020. Scoring the 30 per cent marks separately in both board exam and internal assessment is necessary. You should carry forward your preparation of class 10th science exam in the following steps:-

1. Read a particular chapter through NCERT thoroughly.

2. Try solving the in-chapter exercises.

3. Memorize the formulae or equations orally.

4. Try writing those formulae and equations again and again.

5. Make notes of the chapter.

6. Try solving the end chapter exercises.

7. Keep revising your notes again and again to increase your remembering ability. Keep rewriting the formulae and equations also.

8. Be confident during the exam.

10 CBSE exam for class 10th will commence at 10:30 a.m.. the answer booklet will be distributed at 10:00 a.m.. question paper will be given at 10:15 and a 15 minute time will be provided to navigate the question paper once the clock ticks at 10:30 you will be allowed to write the answer.

I have studied commerce in class 11th CBSE but changed to PCB in 12th NIOS board. Will I be eligible for NEET or BPT?

Hello Antraa,

Yes, this is very good news for you because NIOS candidates are eligible for NEET.Eaely there was restrictions for NIOS candidates but from 2019 the SC(Supreme Court) has put a stay on order that stops NIOS candidates from appearing in NEET Exam.
So, you can apply fir NEET 2020.

But for BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) a candidate needs to have done HSE (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized university.He/She should have pursued science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects securing a minimum aggregate score of 50%(General) or equivalent CGPA whereas (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

The attendance criteria is strict and is followed in most cases in almost all the schools in the country. Since you have not completely specified your condition, I assume you are asking about Class 10 or 12 attendance regulations and in that case, CBSE and all other education boards have strict regulations, so you should not fiddle with them in ideal cases. However, if you have any medical or any other unavoidable circumstance, then you should contact higher authorities for help.

While reporting to the allotted college, candidates must submit the original copy of the required documents which can be are listed below-

  • NEET 2020 Admit Card

  • NEET Scorecard or Rank Letter

  • Class 10 certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth)

  • Class 12 certificate and mark sheet

  • ID proof (Aadhar/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport)
