CBSE 10th Result 2020 will be declared by CBSE Board. The result will be declared online on cbse.nic.in in the first week of May 2020. To check the CBSE 10th class result 2020, students need to enter their roll number, date of birth, school no, centre no. and admit card Id in the respective blanks. Students can also check the result of CBSE 10th 2020 through SMS or IVRs. CBSE 10th result 2020 will contain subject-wise scores and pass & fail status of a student. Last year, CBSE 10th result was declared on May 6. Hence, it is expected that CBSE result 2020 class 10 will be declared on May 6, 2020 (tentative). Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the CBSE 10th Exams 2020 from February 15 to March 20, 2020 in pen and paper mode. Students should follow the step-wise process to check the CBSE Class 10 result 2020. Skipping any step may lead to incorrect result details or students may not be able to access the CBSE board result.

  1. Go to the main website of CBSE results, cbseresults.nic.in to check the CBSE 10th class result 2020.
  2. A result window will appear in the new tab.
  3. Enter CBSE class 10th board roll number, date of birth, school number, centre number and admit card ID
  4. Re-check the entered details and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  5. CBSE Result 2020 class 10 containing the subject-wise scores and grades will be displayed on the screen

  1. Open SMS application on the mobile phone.

How to calculate CGPA of CBSE 10th Result 2020?

  • First of all, Add your grade points of the main five subjects
  • Now, divide it by 5.

For example, if your grade points for the five main subjects are: 9, 8, 9, 9 and 7, then

Step 1: Add the grade points: 9+8+9+9+7 = 42

Step 2: Divide it by 5; 42/5 = 8.4

Thus, your CGPA will be 8.4.

Know how to convert CGPA into the percentage

  • In order to convert your overall CGPA into the percentage, multiply it by 9.5.

  • For example, When CGPA is 8.4, it should be multiplied by 9.5,

  • Thus, 8.4 x 9.5 = 79.80%

CBSE 10th Re-evaluation 2020

Students who are not satisfied with CBSE 10th result 2020 will be can apply for the process of verification and re-evaluation.

  • The application for re-evaluation and verification will be accepted in May 2020.
  • Students will have a period of 5-6 days to apply for re-evaluation or verification of CBSE 10th result 2020
  • Students have to pay a fee for the re-evaluation of Rs. 500 per subject to apply.
  • The payment can be made through gateway/net banking, debit/credit card (both national/ international).
  • Only students who apply for verification can request for photocopy(ies) of the answer sheets.
  • The processing fee for obtaining a photocopy of the answer booklet will be Rs. 500 per subject.

CBSE Class 10 Result 2020 for Re-evaluation

In case, students feel unsatisfied with their marks in CBSE 10th result 2020 can apply for re-evaluation. The online portal to register for re-checking/ re-evaluation will be activated in the month of May 2020.

  • The portal will remain active for 2 -3 days.
  • Students need to pay a re-evaluation fee of Rs. 100 per question to register online. The fee is non-refundable.
  • Any changes in the marks will be reflected in the final CBSE Class 10th scorecard.
  • The CBSE 10th result 2020 declared after re-evaluation will be considered final.
  • No further appeal against the re-evaluation will be entertained.

CBSE 10th Compartment Result 2020

For some, CBSE 10th result brings happiness while for a few, it may give disappointment. Students who receive the unsatisfactory outcome can avail a chance for improvement through CBSE Class 10 compartment exams. CBSE will conduct the compartment exams for class 10th in the month of July 2020. The compartment CBSE 10th datesheet will be released online. In 2019, the class 10th compartment exams were held from July 2 to 10, 2019.

  • Schools have to fill the form for the CBSE compartmental form and pay the required fee through the online portal.
  • Candidates who will appear for March 2019 Exam as regular students from and placed as Compartment should contact their respective schools to register for CBSE compartment 2020 exams
  • CBSE 10th result 2020 for compartment exams will be released in the first week of August 2020.

You should carry forward your preparation of class 10th science exam in the following steps:-

1. Read a particular chapter through NCERT thoroughly.

2. Try solving the in-chapter exercises.

3. Memorize the formulae or equations orally.

4. Try writing those formulae and equations again and again.

5. Make notes of the chapter.

6. Try solving the end chapter exercises.

7. Keep revising your notes again and again to increase your remembering ability. Keep rewriting the formulae and equations also.

8. Be confident during the exam.

10 CBSE exam for class 10th will commence at 10:30 a.m.. the answer booklet will be distributed at 10:00 a.m.. question paper will be given at 10:15 and a 15 minute time will be provided to navigate the question paper once the clock ticks at 10:30 you will be allowed to write the answer.

I have studied commerce in class 11th CBSE but changed to PCB in 12th NIOS board. Will I be eligible for NEET or BPT?

Hello Antraa,

Yes, this is very good news for you because NIOS candidates are eligible for NEET.Eaely there was restrictions for NIOS candidates but from 2019 the SC(Supreme Court) has put a stay on order that stops NIOS candidates from appearing in NEET Exam.
So, you can apply fir NEET 2020.

But for BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) a candidate needs to have done HSE (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized university.He/She should have pursued science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects securing a minimum aggregate score of 50%(General) or equivalent CGPA whereas (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

The attendance criteria is strict and is followed in most cases in almost all the schools in the country. Since you have not completely specified your condition, I assume you are asking about Class 10 or 12 attendance regulations and in that case, CBSE and all other education boards have strict regulations, so you should not fiddle with them in ideal cases. However, if you have any medical or any other unavoidable circumstance, then you should contact higher authorities for help.
